Michel Guillet studied pure mathematics
and engineering at the renowned French "École Polytechnique". He also completed graduate studies
in statistics and economics. He is the founder and president
of Creascience. Michel has over 15 years experience in consulting
in statistics applied to the food industry, forestry, economics and health
sciences. He has been teaching statistics and economics both to university students and companies for more than 15 years. Michel teaches multivariate data analysis and statistical methods for business and marketing.
John Lewis obtained a PhD in 1972 from the University of Illinois
in Biometeorology with a minor in Statistics. From 1970-75, he taught at the University of Maryland.
In 1975, John moved to McGill University where he became a Professor in the Geography Department and a
founding member of the Center for Climate and Global Change. He retired from McGill in 2001.
Spatial analysis with statistical and GIS modelling along with the development of spatial decision
support systems have been an integral component of his research. He has authored/co-authored 54
research articles since 1970. John has over 30 years of university teaching experience-teaching courses in spatial data analysis, GIS, remote sensing/image processing and climatology. He has given specialized training in spatial statistic and GIS courses at University of Nairobi, University of Melbourne and Helsinki University.
Natalie Rodrigue has a Master's
degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from McGill University in Montreal.
She is the vice-president of Creascience.
Natalie has 18 years experience in providing consulting and training services
to the agri-food industry and life sciences scientists. She has been in charge of all
statistically-related activities of a federal research center for 9 years. She
has authored/co-authored 30 research articles since 1990. Natalie was an executive committee member
of the Statistical Society of Montreal in 2004 and 2005. She is a member of the American Statistical Association and a founding member of the
ASSQ (Association
des Statisticiens et Statisticiennes du Québec).
Creascience
is a company offering an array of services focused around statistics,
mathematics and quantitative methods for: research & development,
quality assurance, market research. It offers consulting and tutoring
services in statistics designed for the industry and the public sector.
Over the last 10 years Creascience developed applied statistical training
sessions aimed at non-statisticians.
