This workshop has been designed to help participants understand statistical issues so that they are in a better position to make a critical assessment of the papers published in this field. The course starts with a review of the fundamentals of biostatistics. These principles are then applied and illustrated through the study of several scientific papers. The papers are selected in advance with the participants based on their medical and statistical relevance. Statistical topics cover issues related to the study design, the statistical analysis and the interpretation of results.
This session is currently offered in-house as it is highly customized to suit the client's needs. Please note that we are working on a public session of the workshop that will be offered later this year.
