New Training Courses on Regression Analysis
Monday 10 October, 2005

Regression models are used to relate explanatory and response variables and to do prediction. Several regression techniques exist and the selection of the most appropriate technique to model the data depends on the the number and the type of variables considered.

Creascience broadens its training catalog by adding several courses on regression methods:

  • Simple and Multiple linear regression

  • Logistic Regression

  • Principal Component Regression and Partial Least Squares Regression (PLS)

  • Nonlinear Regression Analysis

  • Reliability (Survival) Analysis

  • The new courses are now available. As for all of our training courses, we can also dispense them on-site. For on-site training sessions, we customize the course contents to your specific needs, the case studies are built with your own data, and a hands-on workshop using your statistical package can be included.

    Uncertainty, Repeatability, Reproducibility
    Tuesday 05 April, 2005

Creascience is offering two training sessions related to the "Statistical Methods for Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)"

  • Introduction to the Analysis of Measurement Uncertainty

  • This training session discusses the measurement of uncertainty in a measurement process: statistical approach, characteristics, types of errors, impact of errors on data quality, analytical approach to the measurement of uncertainty, the impact of the propagation of errors on measurement results and how to report results. This session will be held in English on October 13, 2005

To learn more, go to Introduction to the Analysis of Measurement Uncertainty

  • Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies (Gage R&R)

  • This session discusses how to set up repeatability and reproducibility studies (R&R) and how to analyze the results using the appropriate statistical methods. The main question is how much of the built-in variation affects others activities, such as in-process measurements, quality checks, process improvement projects, etc.
This session will be held in English on October 14, 2005

To learn more, go to Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies (Gage R&R)
